Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
1. What ProofSave is
ProofSave is a private record-keeping service. It stores documents you upload (receipts, invoices, bills, warranty cards and similar) and lets you create shareable "proof" links for records you choose. ProofSave is a storage and sharing utility — not a verification service, escrow, marketplace, or legal advisor.
2. What we do not claim
A proof link shows that the owner stored a record through ProofSave and chose to share selected information. It does not certify that an underlying purchase, payment, or ownership is genuine, and it is not a legally verified document. We do not validate documents against third parties.
3. Your account
You need an account with a verified email address to create records. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. ProofSave is intended for adults: you must be 18 or older to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
4. Access & payment
Creating an account is free, and your first 3 records are free. Saving more requires lifetime access, offered as a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by third-party providers (UPI directly to our account, or Gumroad for cards). We may adjust pricing for future buyers; terms you already purchased remain yours. If you're not satisfied within 7 days of purchase, write to us and we'll refund the payment in full — export your records on the way out, then delete your account if you wish.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use ProofSave to store or share content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or to misrepresent facts to third parties. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
6. Your data
Your records are yours. You can export everything at any time, correct or update your records from their edit pages, and delete your account (which permanently removes your documents) at any time. To correct your account details, or for any data concern, contact our Grievance Officer. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability
We aim for a reliable service with regular backups, but no online service is uninterrupted. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable — the export tool makes this easy.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProofSave is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from lost receipts, rejected claims, or reliance on proof links by third parties. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
10. Contact
Write to [email protected]. For complaints about your data or content, our Grievance Officer responds within 15 days, as Indian IT Rules require.
